Service & Support ServicesOur in-house service and repair facility, shown above, is equipped with all of the necessary diagnostic and calibration equipment to support all of our products and projects and allow us to be self sufficient in the repair and calibration of your equipment. This service allows Orbital to provide dramatically quicker turnaround times for repairs to plant or process critical instrumentation and negates the need to return equipment to the manufacturer who may be located at different sites across Europe and the United States.

Our foremost objective is to provide you, our customer, with a highly professional and efficient service support experience conducted in a respectful and courteous manner whilst ensuring your requirements are fully satisfied. We understand the needs of our customers and the pressures they are under to ensure continuity of service particularly in the utility and manufacturing industries. Orbital are continually investing in staff training and facilities along with all other aspects of service support to ensure we deliver on our commitment to provide the best level support available within this Industry.

We currently have a team of 9 dedicated and highly experienced service engineers who are supported by our in-house service coordinators and dedicated Service Manager who ensures the smooth running and prompt response of our service team.

Our fleet of fully equipped service vehicles allows us to provide an efficient on-site service backup, whether you require diagnostics & repair, preventative maintenance or routine periodical calibration of your installed equipment.

Service Contracts

Service & Support ServicesTo optimize your equipment performance and minimize system downtime, Orbital offers a comprehensive range of service contract possibilities. Most service contracts are bespoke and therefore tailored to the needs of your particular process or commercial requirements, typical contracts include scheduled preventative maintenance and calibration visits as well as offering a priority fast track service for on-site repair visits along with telephone assistance and discounts on spares and product training.

You can supplement your service contract with our 24/7 helpline service. Subscribing to our helpline allows you to contact one of our engineers 24 hours a day 7 days a week. When you call the helpline number, you won’t be talking to a call centre, you will talk directly to one of our on-call service engineers who will endeavour to find a solution to your problem over the telephone or arrange a priority service visit.

Spares

We hold a comprehensive stock of spares and consumables to support both current and existing instrumentation and process consumables. We also have the facilities to hold customer owned strategic spares and currently conduct this service for a number of the UK’ s largest utility companies. We can take your spares orders over the telephone and organize priority shipping of your order; in addition our service engineer’s vans are stocked with a range of spares and consumables to ensure a fast and efficient service when visiting your site.

Training

We have a dedicated on-site training suite which includes a pleasant and large seated room equipped with up to date audio visual training facilities for theory and application based training as well as a workshop based training room for hands on equipment training. We also offer complimentary welfare and buffet facilities to all delegates. We will work with you to put together a bespoke training package that best meets the needs of your personnel, application and equipment. Alternatively we offer hands on training courses conducted on your own site on your own equipment, Which ever best meets your needs?

We conduct regular training sessions that cover all aspects of our equipment and projects and have successfully trained in excess 500 staff over the last 10 years, following all training sessions we conduct individual confidential surveys to ensure our delegates are fully satisfied and where required we can adjust or improve our methods accordingly.
