Highly Accurate Odorisation Solution
The Orbital gas odorisation solution uses a precisely injected continuous fine spray consisting of a calibrated verometer arrangement, which feeds a highly accurate positive displacement injection pump. The pump injects odorant under pressure into the gas process flow. The amount of odorant injected is determined by the flow and pressure of the process for the most safe and accurate gas odorisation. Alternatively, Orbital’s system can inject at a manually set time interval.
Given the importance of reliably conducting gas odorisation, consistency and uptime are key features in the system. This is catered for in the dual redundant system – the verometer and pump arrangement is duplicated, and this duplicated system will automatically take over in the event of a malfunction. Orbital systems have remote diagnostics to allow service engineers to diagnose the gas odorisationsystem prior to any service visit.
